About a month ago, this lush patch of land—and home to the remaining Chadwick Square cats—was stripped for commercial development. Floofy, Black Cat, and Bobcat are still there… we hope.
Floofy has not been seen in a few weeks. When we last saw her, she appeared to have a wound on her side. Despite our efforts, we were not able to catch her.
Black Cat still comes out but is skittish, especially after the leveling of the land. She is wary of traps and won’t let us get too close, but we’re not giving up.
Bobcat is seen sporadically.
We continue to try. This is something that requires patience and diligence… and a strong heart.
