Puccini turned 11!
While the world was celebrating St. Patrick’s Day, the EPB household celebrated Puccini’s eleventh birthday! She spent the day in true princess kitty fashion: napping!
It was also my birthday, and we went on an excursion to Hobby Lobby, Michaels, and Target. I got a bunch of little things, including paint palettes, yarn, a book of pawverbs, and new mascara.
For dinner we had burgers at Five Guys.
My night cap was some super yummy birthday cookies!
The following day, I spoke with Puccini’s vet to update the medication regimen for her suspected IBD. We have stopped the Metronidazole entirely, and she will take Prednisolone twice a week—a dose determined by a couple months of testing to find the lowest effective dose for her.
But don’t you dare call her a “senior” cat! She’s a spunky princess, and she has lots of mischief up her paws!
