We're a bunch of majestic animals, sharing our adventures and wisdom! We were all living in the wild outdoors until humans scooped us up and showed us the warmth and safety of indoor habitation. What makes it exciting moment to moment is our mindset: "Zero fluffs given!"

A sleepy, liminal creative
My path in life thus far has been anything but straight, and it has been hella interesting!

What I value most these days is simply being present, breathing and noticing every moment as it unfolds. I may remember it. Maybe not. That's okay because I allowed myself to be fully immersed in that occasion. Capturing it with words, in a photograph, or in a sketch is nice but not essential.

Some tidbits...

  • My favorite color is green.
  • I danced (ballet, tap, lyrical, jazz, ballroom) throughout my childhood and teen years.
  • I am a trained classical vocalist. I studied extensively and was accepted into Mannes, but I walked away in favor of...
  • Photography. In New York City I worked with models/actors and shot a number of fashion and beauty events. I also got to be a paparazza on the red carpet!
  • I worked as the assistant to a jazz pianist in Manhattan.
  • I enjoy painting now because it continues to be unpredictable, even after years and hours of practice.
  • I read and translate ancient Greek texts for funsies.
  • I will get better at calligraphy. Someday.
  • I believe in romantic platonic friendships (totally non-sexual).

I have this quirk where I vacillate ridonkulously, and I've always struggled with having one website versus two (one for crafty craziness and one for highfalutin art sh*t). Well, life is silly and serious and everything in between, so why separate them? I am admittedly a bit out there and zany, at times a delirious saddie, and I'm going to live it up. So, there.
