We're a bunch of majestic animals, sharing our adventures and wisdom! We were all living in the wild outdoors until humans scooped us up and showed us the warmth and safety of indoor habitation. What makes it exciting moment to moment is our mindset: "Zero fluffs given!"

Choices

Two of Wands from the FountainTarot.

This week, I decided to use the Fountain Tarot, which features lush, subtle, and muted tones in the artwork. To me, its energy is less frenetic than other decks, and its soothing quality seemed appropriate given the current tenor of our times.

The Two of Wands represents two choices. Both of the options are sound, but you have only enough energy to develop one well. If you take too long to decide, you will lose the opportunity. When the Two of Wands appears in your reading, it tells you that you have enough information, and that now is the time to act. Follow your bliss, trust your instincts, and pick boldly. It is true that you become the choices you make, but first you must make the choice.

Meaning: a choice between equal opportunities, optimism, boldness, great energy, imminent fulfillment, a well-balanced person, “the world in your hands”

Reversal: sorrow, unexpected failure, adversity, fear, stagnation, excessive hesitation, hollow achievements, domination by others

Last week, the idea of decision-making amidst uncertainty was touched upon with the Kaaos card. Here, we are faced again with making a choice, but both options before us offer favorable outcomes.

In this card, we see a hand barely grasping two wands and a pearl. I see the pearl as the good that will result, but it’s a precarious situation. One of the wands must be released because holding on to all three creates unnecessary struggle and, ultimately, may not lead anywhere.

What a predicament, to be presented with two options that you know in advance will only benefit you. Which do you choose? The mind may begin its chatter, trying to come up with ways to have it all, do it all or to search for flaws or all possible ills that may occur. There is no wrong choice here, but in order to fully see either path through, you have to commit your time and energy to one. The other opportunity may disappear, or it may circle around again in the future. Right now, though, you must hone your efforts on a singular endeavor and continue your journey forward.

Find that calm within your center that will guide you, even as your mind inundates you with its stories. Now is not the time to be lost in thought but to act.
